more saturday please

I am a firm believer in the 4 day work week...2 days of weekend is simply not long enough. My favorite day of the week is Saturday, and unfortunately it is always the day that goes by the fastest. This just doesn't seem fair. It doesn't even matter what I'm doing on a Saturday...it is still better than a day at work! Now don't get me wrong, I love my job! I really do. But by the end of the week, my brain is fried, and I definitely need more than 2 quick days to give my mind and body the rest they need. I think the bigger issue is just that i am desperately in need of a vacation...it has been more than 3 years since I have taken a real vacation...our honeymoon was amazing...a whole week of no agendas, no cleaning, no everyday life to deal with. Just days full of the ocean, great seafood and whatever else we felt led to do :) We are in the midst of planning our vacation, but it won't be for another 6 months or so...I guess for now I'll just have to relish each and every Saturday until I can get away from it all for a whole week.
