thankful thursday

A MILLION Thank you's to everyone who has fought (or is fighting) for our beloved country and made countless sacrifices so that the rest of us can enjoy our freedom. There will never be enough words to adequately express how thankful I am to you, your families, and all of your loved ones who may even have lost you in the many tragic wars our country has been involved in.

We have so much freedom in this country, and while it sometimes seems as though the world is in disarray all the time, at least we are free to worship the God we choose to worship, and make our own decisions about the foods we eat, the things we wear and the person we choose to spend the rest of our life with, among countless other freedoms.

It seems like sometimes the only thing that causes us to take a moment and remember these freedoms is when we near the 4th of July...This is an unfortunate thing. Let's remember daily what we have to be thankful for, as it is overwhelming how good life is!
